- Detected Terms: Technical terms automatically identified from your transcripts are stored to improve future translations and build your personalized glossary.
- Payment Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor (Stripe) collects billing information. We do not store credit card numbers.
- Communications: When you contact us for support or feedback, we collect the information you provide.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Translation count, feature usage, and interactions with the Service.
- Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device type, and unique device identifiers.
- Log Data: IP address, access times, referring URLs, and other standard log information.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your browsing activities.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:

- Process your translations by sending transcripts to OpenAI for AI-powered analysis

Important: We do not store your raw transcripts after translation. Transcripts are sent to OpenAI for processing and discarded once the translation is complete.

- Supabase: Hosts our database and authentication services. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
- Vercel: Hosts our application infrastructure.

- Transcripts: Not stored after processing. Transcripts are sent to OpenAI, translated, and immediately discarded. We do not retain copies of your original transcripts.
- Detected Terms: Stored until you delete your account or manually remove them from your glossary.
- Account Information: Retained until you delete your account.
- Usage Data: Translation counts and feature usage retained for your account dashboard and billing purposes.
After account deletion, all your data (including detected terms and usage history) is permanently deleted. We may retain certain anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes.
6. Your Rights and Choices
6.1 Account Information
You can update, correct, or delete your account information at any time by logging into your account settings or contacting us.
6.2 Data Export
You can request a copy of your data, including your detected terms and account information, by contacting us at contact@tryhmm.com.
6.3 Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data. This will permanently remove your detected terms, usage history, and account information.
6.4 Term Detection
You can manage your detected terms in your account settings. You can dismiss individual terms or clear your entire glossary at any time.

Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. You can usually modify your browser settings to remove or reject cookies.
6.6 Marketing Communications
